Theme and Gameplay:

A shipwrecked space-traveler. A ramshackled city of survivors. A call from a friend in need. As Terra awakens from 400 days of darkness, a looming robot uprising is just the first calamity that faces a small island community of disparate factions cut off from the surrounding world. Will a young newcomer, claiming to be a traveler from the moon, unite the factions and quell the robot uprising in time to face the larger doom that grows ever closer on the night sky?

Laguna was intended as a prequal to The Current, however, the game plays more like a traditional RPG with turn based combat. The player traverses the environment, talks to NPCs, solves quests, finds loot, and equip items for combat.

Combat plays like a traditional turn based tactical combat game. Each character has movement- and action points. These points are used to move around and perform combat actions, such as attack, heal, and pick-up. Besides the main character the player also has access to a series of different robots that can be deployed during combat to assist the main character.
